1. Do not give any personal or account information over the phone to anyone who calls you.
2. Ask the caller for their name, position at company, branch or division calling from and a call back number. You can easily verify by looking up the number of that branch and calling directly.
3. Share this email with friends and family to avoid any future identify theft.
4. Purchase an identity theft assistance program for yourself and family members.
